Honestly, I don’t like toilet paper
We Indonesians are using soap, water, and, of course, our lovely skilled left hand after we go to the water closet. Meanwhile, some people in Europe, America, and some Asia are applying toilet paper to wipe their bottom part of their body. I wonder which is better of these basic techniques that people should have.
For the sake of efficiency, toilet papers seem better. For example, if you go to a shopping mall and you suddenly feel some thing is not right with your stomach that you just can’t hold the struggling time taken for the journey to your house or wherever you live, public rest room and some plies of toilet papers would be a blessing. Toilet papers avoid you from getting wet all over in the lower part of your anatomy(at least that happens to me). While using soap and water is the right choice if you want to wash your feet as well.
But as a scientist-wanna-be, I just can’t ignore the fate of those bacteria spoiled our anuses in the process of releasing the waste of our meals. I don’t think that toilet papers would assassinate them. Unless the toilet papers are armed with disinfectant, but I never found them in any public rest rooms. But by using soap and water accompanied with the hand skill passed on from each generation to the next, most of those bacteria will vanish.
Besides of that, I just don’t feel comfort using toilet papers. The friction happened between papers and the soft skin in the anus was making an irritating feeling. And for me, the practice of toilet paper technique is very awkward. But things just have to be like that in here, hardly i find a water closet which provides water to clean up. So, as a way to tackle this problem I always armed myself with a glass of water and soap if I find nature call is too hard to resist.
And I think people in here know it best how to master toilet paper technique. From the time i took in that toilet cubic I know how fast they deal with this cleaning issues. Drop the the waste, wipe some, push the flush, and out they are from the cubic. Seriously, they are very fast for this matter.
In the end, a glass of water is pretty helpful for people like me who never experience the education of mastering the toilet paper. And for those who experience a comfortable process of this method, just make sure you don’t forget to make a thorough clean up in the shower.
